7-10 Working Days Delivery Time Delivery Lead Times

All deliveries are 7-10 working days from ordering, which take place everyday of the week (excludes weekends & public/bank holidays). Be aware of anyone else claiming quicker lead times as the contracts between ourselves and Velux are the same for everyone else. However that said deliveries can often be quicker than 7-10 working days; see below why this lead time is stated.

All our blinds & accessories are manufactured in Velux's factory in Denmark, and then they are all shipped over to the UK, and go through custom checks at the Danish and UK ports between crossing the seas. For this reason Velux themselves states a 7-10 working day delivery in the contract to every retailer partner, to allow for any adverse weather conditions during the crossing of the seas, and also any checks between the Danish and UK ports that may arise.


Free Delivery Delivered By

All deliveries for Velux blinds & accessories delivered in are carried out by Initial CityLink (or via DHL when delivering to Northern Ireland and remote areas such as channel islands).


7-10 Working Days Delivery Time Delivery Addresses

We can deliver your blinds anywhere in the UK. Upon ordering you can choose to deliver to:

  • Home address
  • Work address
  • Relative/friend's address

Delivery can be anywhere, except a PO Box address.


7-10 Working Days Delivery Time Delivery Procedure

You can have the order left with a neighbour or in a safe place such as a porch if you are out when they try and deliver, providing you state this when you come to order (on the payment Checkout page section).

They will attempt delivery 3 days in a row (excluding weekends & public/bank holidays) leaving cards with their contact details and your consignment details if you are out when they come.


Free Returns Return & Exchanges

If when you receive your blinds/accessories you find you wish to return it for whatever reason, we will be happy to do so free of charge† with a full refund for you. All we ask is that you haven't fitted your blind or used it in anyway. We will send out free return labels for you to post them back via a Post Office, and then when they arrive back we will refund you.

If you wish to exchange your blinds/accessories we will again be happy to do so providing you haven't fitted/used your blinds in anyway. Again, we will send out free return labels to be sent back via a Post Office, and once they have been sent back to us and received we will arrange for your new blinds to be sent out.

If you are exchanging them for a more expensive item(s) then we would raise the extra charge, however if the item was less expensive, then we would arrange a refund for the difference.
